We are desperate for more of God and willing to do whatever it takes to have Him in our hearts and not just on our lips. We refuse to be oppressed by dead, man-made traditions. We are seeking Yahweh, the Lord God in all His Glory!
THE CHURCH on the Phone is an extenstion of Heart of Compassion Ministries. It is not a prayer line. It is literally a church without walls. We meet on the phone daily in the early morning hours to find our intimate place with God.
In Matthew 16:24-25 in the Amplified Bible it says, “Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to be My disciple, let him deny himself [disregard, lose sight of, and forget himself and his own interests] and take up his cross and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying, also].”
What Yeshua (Jesus) was teaching his disciples in this scripture is how to be desperate for Him. You cannot really attain true intimacy with God and enter into that deeper place with Him until you become desperate. That is why He instructed His disciples to forsake everything of themselves and embrace all that is God. “Die to yourself and live through Me!!!” That is what he was saying. By developing this type of desperation you will be able to achieve real oneness and intimacy with God, allowing you to step into the abundance of life that Christ promised us.
