Our Visionary Overseers ~
Pastor and Prophetess Haniah started this ministry because they understand.
Heart of Compassion Ministries is a manifestation of a vision given to Overseers Pastor Emmanuel Haniah and his wife Prophetess Laneen Haniah (also known as "Dr. Intimacy") when they met 10 years ago. Both having a history of family dysfunction and the lonely abusive life of the sex industry, they immediately received the vision of their destiny to work together with those bound in sin, rejected in the church and downtrodden in life.
Even in light of their excitement to do public ministry work they were both focused on building a strong marriage and a Godly family first. They wanted their family to be an example for The Body of Christ, a model that others could follow. God quickly began to assist them in this endeavor by blessing them with seven children and thus further equipping them for the work that they now oversee through Heart of Compassion Ministries.
The Haniah's are both recognized ministry leaders that have been affiliated with different local ministries over the last 15 years, serving in youth and young adult ministry, men’s ministry, women’s ministry and prison ministry. With their 27 years of combined ministry experience, they intend to reach back for those still captive to what once bound them. This includes ministering to: teens, young adults, single parents, the sexually addicted, substance abusers, those incarcerated, and dysfunctional families.
Pastor and Lady Haniah also have a special place in their hearts for those that have been hurt, overlooked, and exploited in traditional church environments. Having both experienced their share of church hurts, they are passionate about building the Body of Christ in unique and non-traditional ways that will help draw back those that have left the church. Two of the ways that they have accomplished this is by starting, "THE CHURCH on the phone" and "Victoriously Free!".
